Diagonal slanted strata bands — offset horizontal ridges sheared along a consistent angle, raking light across the wall.

Sediment

Slanted strata, laid down like a riverbank.

$54

Diagonal bands of strata run across the wall on a slant, each ridge offset from the last so light rakes the surface and shadow pools in the troughs. The wide tabletop footprint gives a Pilea's shallow roots room to spread, and the recessed drainage hole with a low lip keeps the desk dry. Run a thumb up the grain and you feel every band lift.

The story

Sediment is a cross-section of slow time — the angled layers of a cut riverbank, where each season pressed down a new diagonal line. We tuned the print so the slant of the strata fights the flat horizon of the layer lines, and the two grids interfere into a deeper texture. The form reads as geology held still on a desk.
