Fern-vein embossed lattice — branching midrib relief over a thin open-weave wall

Frond

A fern's vein traced into a wall of light.

$60

Frond carries a fern-vein lattice embossed into its walls — branching midribs and pinnae pressed into a fine open weave that breaks the light into soft, leaf-shaped shadows. The lattice keeps the wall thin and airy so roots breathe and water never pools, while the embossed veins add rib-stiffness that holds the tabletop form crisp. A recessed base drains into a matching low saucer, so the planter sits clean on wood without ring stain.

The story

We pressed a single maidenhair frond flat and traced every vein, then let that drawing become structure. The result reads as botanical relief but works as engineering: the veins are ribs, the gaps are airflow. Frond is a planter that wears the silhouette of the thing it holds.
